Pinehurst, a long-time Google for Education user, faced challenges with suboptimal product usage and security concerns. Their compromised Windows Active Directory, with failed backups, left devices unmanaged, hindering efficient learning and raising security risks.
The Solution
Infintec delivered a comprehensive Google Admin Console security audit, implementing tailored security policies. They enabled Single Sign-On and centralized device management with Google Credential Provider for Windows. They also provided extensive staff training, boosting confidence and collaboration. Pinehurst also implemented ChromeOS Flex on older devices.
The Result
Pinehurst achieved significant cost savings by avoiding Active Directory server replacement, managing devices via Google Admin Console. ChromeOS Flex allowed them to repurpose older hardware. Staff training led to increased Google product usage and improved efficiency. Security was greatly improved.
